Davenport University’s nursing software is presenting its pupils a new point of view in working towards how to deal with COVID-19 sufferers.
Professors in the nursing application have carried out holographic computer software into its curriculum to enhance students’ visual being familiar with and deliver a diverse manner of practising how to present holistic therapy to COVID-19 individuals.
Amy Stahley, interim dean for the School of Health Professions at Davenport, explained 30 students commenced utilizing the application very last winter. Pupils have on 3-dimensional holographic goggles that allow for them to see their patient’s entire body units.

Stahley stated Davenport obtained the HoloLens by way of a grant after she and the previous dean of the College of Overall health Professions, Karen Daley, went to a meeting a few decades ago.
